Padel tennis is a fun, social sport played in an enclosed court. Played mainly in doubles, it’s a game based on communication, teamwork, and long rallies. The sport has simple scoring and rules, uses walls as part of play, and is designed for maximum enjoyment and friendly competition.

  1. Game: Played mainly in doubles on an enclosed padel court
  2. Scoring: Same as tennis (15, 30, 40, game; first to 6 games wins a set, tiebreak at 6-6)
  3. Serve: Underarm, after one bounce, hit diagonally and below waist height
  4. Walls: Ball must bounce on the ground before hitting walls
  5. Shots: serve, return, volleys, lobs, groundstrokes, overheads
  6. Positioning: Play as a pair and try to control the net
  7. Winning points: Opponent misses, ball bounces twice, or hits fence/wall directly
