The fitness and wellbeing offering at Hurlands

Mon Jan 12th | 2 minute read

At Hurlands, we believe that great performance on court starts with looking after your body when you are also off the court. That’s why we’re creating a thoughtfully designed wellbeing centre that supports fitness, recovery, movement, and long-term health, all under one roof.

Our wellbeing space will include two private treatment rooms, a dedicated wellness studio, and a fully equipped fitness studio, providing a complete approach to health and performance for our members.

We’re proud to be partnering with Meadowside Sports Therapy who will be managing our treatment rooms. Meadowside Sports Therapy is a highly respected local practice with a strong reputation for clinical excellence and evidence-based care, with a holistic approach to treatment. Their experienced team supports clients with everything from injury rehabilitation and pain management to performance optimisation and long-term musculoskeletal health, making them a perfect fit for the Hurlands ethos.

The Holistic Studio

Our calm, welcoming wellness studio, designed to support holistic health and mindful movement. This space will host smaller, more intimate classes such as yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, and other wellness-focused sessions.

With its peaceful atmosphere and limited class sizes, The Holistic Studio offers an exclusive environment where clients can focus on improving mobility, flexibility, balance, breathing, and mental wellbeing. Whether you’re looking to unwind, recover, or build a stronger foundation for movement, this studio is designed to meet a wide range of wellness needs in a supportive and high-quality setting.

The Fitness room

This is our fitness hub. It is a dynamic space focused on building strength, fitness, and resilience. Equipped with a range of functional training equipment, this studio is ideal for strength and conditioning classes, small group training, and sport-specific sessions.

This is where members can work on improving power, speed, coordination, and overall fitness, all key components for staying injury-free and performing at your best on court. Whether you’re new to training or looking to take your performance to the next level, The Fitness room is designed to support effective, purposeful training.

Classes in strength and conditioning

Hurlands will also be introducing sports-specific classes, designed to help players become truly court ready. These sessions will focus on the strength, mobility, agility, and conditioning required to improve performance in Pickleball and Padel, while also reducing the risk of injury. Looking after your fitness, flexibility, and strength is essential if you want to enjoy these sports long term, and our wellbeing offering is built to deliver exactly that.

While Hurlands is proudly home to Pickleball and Padel, you don’t need to be a racquet sports player to enjoy our wellbeing centre. Our studios and treatment spaces are open to anyone with an interest in health, fitness, movement, and overall wellbeing. Whether you’re here to train, unwind, build strength, improve mobility, or simply feel better day to day, everyone is welcome.

In addition, both studios will be available for hire by local health, fitness, and wellbeing businesses, allowing for workshops, short courses, events, and specialist classes. This means members can expect a varied and evolving timetable, shaped by experienced local professionals.

At Hurlands, wellbeing isn’t an add-on, it’s an essential part of the experience. Whether you’re here to move, recover, train, or perform, our wellbeing centre is designed to support you every step of the way.
